Why join Central Coast United?

Central Coast United Physical Culture is about fun, fitness and friendship! Central Coast United was formed in 1986 by its original teachers Carol Yule and Carol Bland. The club has members from 4 years right through to Ladies, with beginners always welcome.

Australian Physie & Dance Association (APDA) is a new association formed in 2011 – however Physical Culture has been taught in Australia for 120 years. Central Coast United Physical Culture Club (as we compete) was, in 2011, 25 years old and was part of the BJP association for many years. We have made the move to APDA in 2012 as we believe it is a better syllabus for children to learn and compete in, along with being a better sporting body to compete in. “Physie” teaches flexibility and posture with exercises that resemble hip hop, ballet, pilates, gymnastics and jazz. There are classes for students from 3 -70 years of age and is a great way to make lifelong friends and perform at both a local and national level, individually and in teams.
